Am i being thick?

Appreciate help on this:

Got a set of 560s, a BAM mic and a Procaster Amp-H1. Set it up, all i get is very low volume on the right ear. Tested the BAM and headphone set on my old G4ME1 amp, and there i get very low volume on the left ear. Mic works in both instances.

Don't get it, all i can think of is the BAM cord or plugs are somehow defective.
