Just diagnosed with bpd
Im a 23 year old guy, ive been diagnosed with adhd and bipolar 2 for a very long while. But after seeing a new psychiatrist and therapist and trying some new meds that sent me into a terrible suicidal, angry, and volatile spiral of emotions i was re diagnosed bipolar alongside a BPD diagnosis. After learning about the disorder more in depth, i cant say im suprised at all. Ive been almost textbook bpd for years and have had no idea. I have ruined and continue to ruin so many good things in my life because of this especially relationships. Luckily my current girlfriend is absolutely wonderful shes very forgiving, attempts at understanding me, and is very patient. But it still seems like there are some things that dont really click with her, which is okay because we both try our best and we are both very dedicated to the love we have. But i just never feel like my best is good enough. Life is so hard, and i feel terrible because i feel like the people i love most get the absolute worst of it. I just feel just immense guilt for how i get sometimes. How do you guys deal with this, is there any hope?
