Brain Poem

Pliable and Gelatinous — Poke and Prod

Movable and Moldable

Electrical Wire

Jumping Sparks

A Conduit of Heart — of Wit — of Loss

Tender Meat

The Forefront of the Mind

Conduit of Hell — of Hate — of Fear

The Circuitry of Ingenuity

One’s Personhood Caged

in an Electrical Box Skull

Tantamount to the Body — Able to be Maimed

Wound and Bruise — Hurt and Harm

A Mutilation of the Mind

Just as Any Other Organ

Any Other Lung

Any Other Liver

Any Other Heart

The Sparks, The Cogs, The Copper — No Modern Medicine Can Mend the Mind
