Is anyone messing with extraction camper camping?

I have never gone into a run with the intent to shoot other players. Every time I think about it I flash back to the heartbreaking runs I lost to PvP. However, I love the idea of staking out an extraction point early and scouting out those filthy extraction campers. Haven't tried this yet but I imagine an Osprey/Renegade primary with a shotgun or SMG, some traps or heavy grenades, a defib for downed innocents, heavy armor because you're not trying to chase anyone.
