(USA) Important update: My “fake law firm package” was really Halara — warehouse mislabeling?

UPDATE: “Davidoff Hutcher & Citron LLP” USPS Tracking — My Package Arrived Today and It Was Actually From Halara (Shipping Error in Rosedale, NY)

This is an update to my earlier post that went viral (now locked).
Today, the package connected to the mysterious tracking number was delivered.

It turns out the package was NOT from the law firm at all.

It was actually my clothing order from Halara-Official.
Halara ships from China but uses a warehouse in Rosedale, NY, and the sender name printed on the label was:

However — the USPS Informed Delivery sender name field displayed the law firm’s name (“Davidoff Hutcher & Citron LLP”) which caused hundreds or thousands of people to panic.

Someone in my first post stated they spoke with the actual law firm, and their receptionist confirmed:

It appears to be a shipping software error or a mass-label glitch at a third-party fulfillment warehouse, not a legal notice, not a scam directed at individuals, and not anything from the law firm.

But it HAS impacted large numbers of people. Since this happened to hundreds of others I suspect this was not a mistake. If I owned a company and this happened to us then I would want to know.
