DCoS application Denied - Due to home office administrative delays
The title might not be the most suitable, but I couldn't figure out what to add there. My prospective employer changed their main office address and submitted an organisational details amendment request through the SMS system. They spoke to the sponsorship helpline, explaining they were seeking to make a defined CoS request and whether the address change would affect that. The organisational detail amendment has an 18 weeks timeline, and we did not want to wait that long. The person on the helpline was not very straightforward. Still, they advised it might not, as the caseworker could see we had already submitted an amendment application that is still pending. Before submitting the defined CoS application, the employer sent the priority email at 7:00 AM for at least 10 days, without success. They kept trying even after submitting the defined CoS application.
Now, they have received a refusal, stating it's a non-compliance with sponsor duties as the address is not on the Sponsorship license. I understand the refusal letter states that any D Cos does not have grounds for an administrative review, but 18 weeks is a long wait, and we don't know when my employer's organisational amendment will be processed, as the Home Office is not very swift. Could you please advise if there is any way to ask for reconsideration? Thank you.
