Glassdoor remove negative reviews for employers

Although Glassdoor states that employers cannot pay to remove reviews, my personal experience has been frustrating. The negative review I posted got removed with the explanation that they violated content policies, but Glassdoor did not clearly specify which part of the policy was violated. Each time I asked for clarification, I received inconsistent or vague answers.

Meanwhile, positive reviews I’ve submitted were posted almost immediately, while negative ones took much longer to be reviewed. Based on my experience, the moderation process doesn’t always feel neutral or transparent. It often seems that the Trust & Safety team applies the rules inconsistently, which can be discouraging for users who are trying to share honest experiences.

Because of this, I’m wondering: what other platforms allow people to share workplace experiences openly and fairly, especially when they feel they have been treated poorly by an employer? At this point, Glassdoor no longer feels like a reliable place for balanced and authentic reviews.
