The creature: "I... don't know, I suppose. But on the same token, how do I know you're not the one lying either? He did call you manipulative after all."
Voice of the Princess: Us? The manipulative one? That's a tall claim, coming from whoever sent him here to slay us without even telling him the full picture. I mean, who even does that?
