Sanguinesti staff, the staff that is so trash, that I decided to invest.
Lets start with some brutal honesty:
*The staff is utter dogeshite atm.
*There is no buff announced
*There is no new content comming for it that we know of. (is it even possible to make content for it, wouldnt everyone just use the eye of ayak?)
*I told you its shite, which it is, but its also expensive to use. 900k+ upkeep per hour. Eye of ayak and Scythe of vitur is 600k per hour, for reference.
*With elemental weaknesses in the game, its not even a decent "budget option". Wiki says its the bis option for magic only rex, but I disagree, u can honestly just freeze him and take 0 damage. then nuke with eye of ayak for lower cost and more kph.
You get the point, the staff sucks. But is there any "upsides"? Not many, but with a lot of goodwill I managed to find a few.
Pros:
*Its so bad, and so useless, that leaving it "as is", is just bad game design. So if jagex ever gets around, it could be a "rework" candidate.
- Lorewise, the staff was crafted by Lord Drakan, so one could hope it gets some love with the new grandmaster quest coming. (this is honestly most of the bet).
*Its at an all time low. (For a good reason, but still.).
*Its arguably the best looking staff in the game, and the holy version is even cooler.
This is not an investment idea, im a very subpar mercher. I also have gambling issues and bad impulse control. No but seriously, its a bad staff. I bought 20 of them, which is what I could afford without selling my gear.
