Retro Kits only available in Manager Live?

Hello, probably somebody already asked this but I couldn't find much in the subreddit and I wanted an updated feedback on this. Is it normal to have the retro kits only in Manager Live? Not in Normal Career mode, not in Kick Off (where they should most used imho btw)?? Someone from EA ever said anything about this bug? Is it even a bug? I can't make sense of this. I hate EA when they do a good thing and they ruin it for everyone at the same time
