Family moving away
This summer my older sister (32) and her family bought a house moved far away from the city. Now my other sister (31) and her family are in the process of their own house in the town the oldest lives. She’s taking both my parents, 3 of my brothers and her and her family. Now I’m starting to think about how everything is going to change and I’m starting to be sad about it. We’ve all live super close to each other in the city and we were always able to see each other often. But now it won’t be the same. The only family I (f27) have in the city now is my own (husband and daughter) and my brother (25) who lives in his own apartment. Cause what’s pushing my depression is also dealing with how fed up I am of living in a basement apartment (it’s been 5 years now). We went through two floods this summer and mice now which we have never felt with in our years of living here; and our only option is to rent a first or second floor apartment (expensive) for now because to buy a house my husband needs another year of taxes since they pay him cash at his job. Even if we were to buy a house it wouldn’t be where everyone is moving to because it’s way on the opposite side of where my husband works, and it’ll be too much of a commute for him. Also I don’t know how to drive, which I now for a 27 year old it’s embarrassing, so there’s no way to go visit them whenever I’m home with my daughter with nothing to do. So yeah I’m starting to feel that sadness of not knowing and having them near, and my brother well he has his own life, so yeah it’s really starting to hit me. And I’ve struggled with depression and anxiety, I might need to start coping again.
