Help: I want hair curls

Hi. I'm a girl with straight hairs like real straight. But I like curls sometimes. I avoid heat devices, reasons you know. Making tight hair braids gives me headache😭😭a plus they don't give textured curls. Please if anyone knows any other way, please comment.
