Trigger warning.
I’m having a really hard time lately.
Work up and had some PVCs since.
Burden is less than 1%, but I still absolutely hate them and they terrify me to my core.
My biggest fear is r on t, as in recent Apple Watch recordings I had PVCs that were just in an extremely uncomfortable proximity to the t wave. Having a weird behaving left bundle branch block also concerns me because to me with that, I already have something wrong electronically with my heart with the LBBB.
I also had an experience that is really hard to put into words about a week ago. I was cooking dinner when I suddenly felt a big PVC and it was like either so incredibly immediately after or it occurred with the PVC, I felt an instant draining in my entire body and I couldn’t breathe in or swallow for a split second. I went to lean over the chair in the dining room to catch my breath and I really cannot explain what I was feeling during that time or in the time going to the dining room. I don’t know if the rest of what I felt afterwards was just panic or something actually going on with my heart. I was having nearly constant PVCs for about a minute following me sitting down.
I fear that I had an r on t occur and that it triggered vtach or something.
I just can’t shake what’s going on.
I don’t feel safe with these, and yes, I know I need therapy when I can actually afford it.
I had the work up with Mayo in beginning of year and they weren’t really concerned with anything.
The two PVCs I caught that freaked me out, no previous recordings look like them.
So now I’m worried that something has changed for the worse.
I plan on getting with my cardiologist and talking with him to see what he thinks. But in the meantime, I am an absolute mess and struggling with the anxiety and fear around this.
