So I also link it to the music played but these 3 moments make me wanna or will make me cry every time.

Once I put my headphones on when that Faye scene happened on one of my many many play throughs. And I was crying at the end. “My Ashes, My Sorrow”. The Love and Kindness she has to Kratos, the fact that Kratos, despite being Greek, honors both his Wife’s wishes. To have a funeral pyre and to scatter her ashes. Perhaps Kratos was tempted to refute… but I don’t think he ever would.

The whole scene of Baldur’s death is sad. The fact that Kratos reveals all to his son and Atreus says the heartbreaking line “Is this what it means to be a god? To kill your own father? Your mother?” And Kratos speaks to his son as an equal. “No, we can change, we must be better” which is beautiful mirroring of the start of the game when Kratos uses it as a jab at his son. Now a firm but loving statement. “Who I was, is not who you will be” makes me cry every time. Especially as someone who feels they need to atone for crimes not their own.

The Echoes of An Old Life Scene is sad to me because it’s also filled with such resolve and redemption. Kratos is willing to dig up these… things to aid his son. Even sadder that Freya, comforts Kratos, “Your Past does not define you, this is your son”. And when revealed, Kratos remembered that day so long ago when they burned him. Then Athena, accusing him of being a Monster. But instead of refuting Kratos accepts. But he resolves that he will be no one’s monster. And also I feel I need to give Mimir some credit, bro got the emotion intelligence in the 4 digits. He waited a bit before asking who he was talking to. The way he went from the excited “Now let’s get you what you need to help your boy!!” To a hushed and soft tone when asking him during their travel back to Tyr’s Temple, I think he feared what it meant having these blades back into his life. But we know where his story ends. With these blades and her axe. He is Hope.

Which moments had you like this(Emotionally):
