Anniversary PVE to Classic Era PVP Transfer

First time player here, been playing anniversary on a PVE realm for a while and i'm having a lot of fun but need a lot of time, I saw it's possible to transfer my character from a Anniversary PVE realm to a Classic PVE realm but not a PVP one, is this permanent or are they going to unlock it before TBC?
