Going back to uni after a long gap and marriag
Salam. Not sure if this is the right place to be asking but going ahead anyway. I've studied upto college (F.A) after which i decided to pursue my area of interest rather than follow the path to university. I spent 4 yrs studying religious subjects in an institution, while their course was AMAZING, it sadly wasn't affiliated with wifaaq, which means the degree isn't convertible to bachelors/masters. I spent around 2 years (1 before and 1 after this degree) working in teaching kindergarten and second at the same place I studied from. 3 years at home after I got married. Now im looking to continue my studies ( basically to just get a degree) what are my options?
I want a university whose degrees hold value but isn't too expensive. I want to study something that has potential for decent paying jobs later.
I've studied English literature during college and extensive Arabic during my 4 yr study at the institute. Should I get into these languages as a degree or pursue something else? Islamic studies is an option someone mentioned as well. These degrees will likely provide only teaching opportunities, is there scope and decent earnings there? Which of these, or none, would be advisable? And what other options should I look into? Thank you in advance!
