When does "all" grammar become obvious? To the people with 2-3k+ hours.
At some point you will just know instantly EXACTLY what something means or how to retrieve it if you were to speak, when does this happen?
I'm talking about just knowing when to use the subjunctive, easily speak about hypothetical things regardless of which tense. Things like le/lo/la as well.
For example with English I never ever think about grammar, I just do whatever feels right without a second thought and when I hear it I just understand 100% instantly. With Spanish at somewhere between 1250-1300h I'm starting to think I sort of know all the grammar when I hear it, but it's really far from fluent. Since I'm currently in Mexico I just hear stuff without context on the street etc all the time and sometimes I still feel like "wait, who did what?" and I have to stop for 2 seconds and think about what I just heard and then it's perfectly clear, but it's not instant if I don't have context. The other day I heard something simple like "ya tomarón fotos?" and my brain just stood still for 2 seconds until I looked behind me and saw the guys family and realized like well yeah obviously he just asked if his family had already taken photos.
Because to actually take part in a native conversation all of that stuff has to be basically on autopilot regardless if you have any context or not. I mean obviously it's fine if you sometimes miss using the subjunctive or some small detail etc. But to instantly understand what you hear or read basically as clear as your native language I guess is what I'm asking, granted that you obviously will have a smaller vocabulary.
