Etiquette Question (and maybe some venting)

I registered on Udisc for an an upcoming event near me but the event was renamed and I don't seem to be registered for the new event and registration is locked. As far as I know it's mostly casual, would it be bad etiquette for me to show up still?

For background I'm relatively new to town and problems with the league utilizing UDisc have been the norm with the local club. I've shown up to more than one event that was cancelled or rescheduled on Facebook ,but not on Udisc

Where the vent comes in is this is the second town I've lived in whose club does everything on Facebook. Which , whatever, but their shit is private so unless you partake in the stupidity you can't keep up to date. When I started playing "grow the sport" was the motto. Using FB exclusively in 2025 is definitely not that.

Anyways yeah, should I go or no?
