Hearing tests not showing hearing loss
I've been tested by two audiologist in the last five years and both have said my hearing loss isn't profound so insurance doesn't cover. My kids tell me I can't hear them, I struggle in loud places to hear conversations, I read lips and need people to look at me to hear, and I keep taking hearing aid tests online and they tell me I don't have hearing loss.
My partner is very frustrated with me and I'm just struggling. Enter otc hearing aids. I never knew I could buy them myself. I'd like to at least try but the price tag is of course a little hard to swallow. I'm desperate though so really looking for advice.
Are there entry level ones that I should try or should I just go for the more expensive ones?
Thoughts?
