parents & surgery

im getting mine done in two weeks (yay!!!) but i also am going to have my mom there for driving purposes and im worried that this very emotional and happy moment is going to quickly turn into her own emotional problems with the surgery… like she’s supportive but she’s always crying about it… if you dealt with this how did you? or i guess the reveal is moreso a week after ehen i get my drains out anyways and i could drive myself (?)
