Question for Experienced Dommes… Do Subs Start Testing Limits Around the 2 Month Mark?

I’ve had a sub for a while now and he’s been consistent with tributes since day one. Never skipped tribute, never hesitated … until now. And of all times, he chooses a holiday weekend to break pattern. I’m curious if this lines up with something you’ve seen in your own dynamics.

Do some subs even the reliable ones start to test boundaries or “see what happens” after about 2 months of service? I’m not talking about flakes or unserious guys. I mean the ones who have proven dependable, invested, attentive… then suddenly pull back or skip tribute without communication.

Have you noticed: — a shift in behavior around the 6–10 week range? — testing, procrastination, or subtle disobedience? — subs trying to renegotiate the power dynamic after they get comfortable?
