Is Air India really that bad?

Primarily from a safety perspective. Obviously their recent accident was pretty bad, but they seem to, generally, be pretty alright?

I travel pretty frequently on a London -> Delhi route, flying primarily on their A350s in business class, and I've had nothing but good experiences. Food is alright, service is great, departures are on time. Nothing seems sketchy at all - but people on this sub make them out to be this terrifying unsafe airline that is going to kill thousands.

Are they really that bad? Should I be seeking a new airline?
