Recommendations for a solid, durable throw+flood EDC

I need to figure out a new flashlight for my dad to EDC. He’s always outside and working on something, so it needs to be quite durable. He currently carries an 18560 Olight, but the lens is melted on it and I’m personally not a big fan of olight.

I have considered getting him something fancy customized from Convoy or a Hank, but those don’t have built in charging and I think he likes that feature a lot.

He seems to like the 18650 size. But maybe a small profile 21700 could work.. not sure. Just don’t want it to be too big.

He really only seems to care about bright, usable light + durability + charging.

I am over-complicating the search by trying to get too fancy. I keep looking at things with Anduril FW and things he just doesn’t need.

Can someone recommend a good durable (maybe titanium?) light that is easy to charge and puts out a solid throw+flood?
