Newb building me first non-precon. Any good white/black spells to add for Tribal Esper Knights?

Wanna build a Jabari Commander for bracket 2-3, however I don't like net-decking whole lists. Perhaps you have some good non-creature spells to add, which are useful, perhaps even staples, but no gamechangers. I feel like I am not able to pilot a deck with those yet, without simply missplaying all day like a scrub. Thanks in advance
