Downtown/OTR apartment recommendations?

I’m graduating from UC in two weeks and getting a job downtown right after, so I’m looking for a place to live either downtown or in OTR, ideally a one-bedroom apartment.

(I know some buildings call their units “studios” when they might as well be one-bedroom, so I’m alright with that. I definitely don’t want an actual studio.)

I’d like to live among other young professionals, but that’s not a requirement. I also don’t own a car, so I don’t care about parking and will not factor that into any decisions.

My ideal budget is <$1400/mo (not including utilities), but I’m willing to stretch that a little bit if it means a much better living situation. I definitely don’t want to go above $1600/mo.

The buildings I’ve looked at the most are:

• The Blonde

• The Vibe

• Contrast OTR

• Textile Apartments

• The Provident

Of the ones listed here, what should I know that would help me decide where to live? Also, are there any that I’ve missed that I should look into? Thank you!
