Starter gear?

I beat the game several times and considering new dlc is out I am thinking about starting a new save instead of hopping back into the game with already everything in stock.

Planning to do a base game planet start since it has all mineable resources, automate everything to the sky and then hop on other planets.

Question is - is there a way to ‘cheat’ some starter gear in? I don’t want creative mode, just some basic gear to make beginning less tedious. Like a mod or changing inventory in the game files?
