Did I get good books or bs?

Hi! I'll fully admit I'm not a witch but my wife is. She's of native American heritage and uses some of that, also interested in wiccan stuff, mainly healing, herbal, essential oils, that's her bread and butter. This year for Christmas I wanted to get her some good books and these two seemed to have good reviews but I wanted to ask the people who I feel would know a thing or two and double check.

I got:

Mother Nature's Herbal by Judith griffin phd

And

Blackthorn's Botanical Magic by Amy Blackthorn

Any witches that have read these books are they pretty good, or bs? Any notes or things I may want to relay to my wife who I'm gifting these to? Any advice would be appreciated!
