Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ display stopped working- warranty coverage?

Hello,

My little brother's Galaxy Tab A9+ display just stopped working. No display output, just the backlight. It was bought through Amazon just a bit less than a year ago. Is there a limited warranty on this device? If so, would that warranty cover this?
