northern lights cruises and staying on US time
For folks from the Americas taking an Iceland & vicinity cruise, was it practical to sleep on your hometown timezone (e.g. go to sleep at NY time 11PM, which would be ~3AM Iceland time, and wake up ~11AM Iceland time).
You would miss breakfast and probably most official excursions, and I heard daylight hours are short if you do offshore at noon.
But curious if this is a common tactic to avoid waking up to catch the lights?
