He (30M) introduced me (30F) to his parents but didnt wanted me to go to his dad bday. Is breaking up the best choice or what?

Been in a situationship with my former next door neighboor since december last year. We went on vacation together (after this we met each others moms), gave us our keys, spent together almost everyday of the year. Adopted cats and helped with chores.

Then since october he got a promotion 600km away in a rural town, I've been taking care of his cats and apartment. He texts everyday and comes home every 12 days and stays with me for 4 days. We visit his parents everytime.

This time we has a previous fight about him not telling me about a new friend (girl) in his new town, and the day he arrived home it was his dad bday. He got ready with the clean and ironed clothes i left for him and left for the party, when I asked to be invited he told me that I should forget about going bc I pressured him to hang out with them and he feels guilty when they ask for me and he wont take me there. Then he went drinking with his friends and did not arrive till 4:30 am.

He asked if i was mad or what and proceeded to tell me its all my fault waiting for him till 4:30am and my reasons are stupid and he regrets nothing. His mom texted me and told me I should break up with him. Seems reazonable but I also very abrupt since we he already took me home to them, what would you do?
