Anyone else diagnosed despite atypical latency?

I was diagnosed N1 a couple years back, but just now had the opportunity to see my actual PSG/MSLT results. I hit 2 SOREMPs but had a mean latency of 13 minutes; my doctor still diagnosed me with N and wrote “rather atypical SL likely due to difficulty in scoring her sleep” (whatever that means).

Everything I’ve read says that should have excluded an N diagnosis for me, so I’m just curious if anyone else had this happen. I do experience typical cataplexy so I’m wondering if that pushed me over the line.
