always sick w gf in healthcare

im someone who has been sick pretty consistently for the past year (especially during periods of high stress where my immune systems worsens) and my girlfriend works at an urgent care. she does all she can (masking, hand washing, changes clothes before she touches me after work,etc) but its gotten to a point where we’re both a little helpless to the situation where we can’t necessarily ignore the fact that im getting sick because of her exposure at work.

we’ve only been dating for a little over a year and ive been consistenly more sick than i have in the past since we got together.

does anyone else have experiences with this kind of dynamic or ideas so im not dead all the time 😭
