Should I give Alan Carr's book to someone who's already quit?

My mom is about 20 days cigarette free! I'm so proud of her! I wanted to give her Alan Car's Easyway book because it helped me, but it occured to me that since he instructs readers to go ahead and continue smoking while reading the book, I will wondered if this might discourage her or cause her to relapse. Any options on this? Maybe there's just a formula of words I can say that lets her know to ignore that part? Or maybe specific sections I could suggest she omit?
