What car is Marty expecting?

We see at the end of the film, Marty somehow ends up with his dream car. Is this a sign that George and Lorraine remember him from their last now?

We know from Lorraine's point of view, the date is not secret and something that was plannyfor weeks. So why the black 4x4?

From Marty's point of view, the car is wrecked and they only own one car.

The 4x4 is a gift.

So do they gift him his dream car because George has fulfilled his dreams OR is the 4x4 just a gift for the date? It's a massive gift just for a date.
