Repair/replacement of the refrigerator – who should do it – the landlord or me?

A few days ago, I noticed that water was leaking from under the refrigerator in the apartment.

I reported it to the landlord today because the problem had been recurring for three days in a row.

He replied that since it was his old refrigerator and we were using it for free, at no additional cost, we should find another refrigerator and buy it.

The refrigerator is mentioned in the contract:

"Die Wohnung wird möbliert vermietet. Die Küche ist mit Küchenzeile, Kühlschrank, Spülmaschine,

Herd, Dunstabzug, 2 Barhockern, Bartisch und diversem Geschirr ausgestattet.

Im Wohnzimmer werden 1 Sofa, 1 Tisch, 3 Stühle, 3 Regale mitvermietet.

Im Bad ist 1 Spiegelschrank."

From what I have read on the internet and from what I understand, in this situation, the landlord is responsible for ensuring that there is a refrigerator in the apartment and that it works?

Can anyone help me - who should pay for any repairs/replacement in this situation?
