Do you ever feel like remote work made your *personal life* too optimized?
I caught myself last week scheduling “relaxation” in my Google Calendar. Like literally typing: “18:30–19:00 , chill time.” I realized I turned my entire life into a to-do list disguised as freedom. Every moment has a purpose, every hobby has a metric, every walk is “step count.” It’s weird , remote work gave me flexibility, but it also made me treat myself like a system that needs maintenance. I miss doing pointless things. Walking just to get lost, reading without tracking pages, cooking something terrible just for fun. Somewhere between Slack and Notion, I started needing permission to be unproductive. Anyone else struggling with that mindset? How do you *unlearn* being efficient all the time?
