When do you decide to give up and move on

I have been running a sideproject and losing money every month for the past 2 years. I love finding things for cheap and sharing it with people. It genuinely makes me feel happy. So I thought I should start a site to share them. And I created it. The name was lowestpricerightnow.com

Months rolled by with 0 traffic and one day I decided to post it on internetisbeautiful subreddit with 0 expectations. I got 80k+ visits in a day. Which is lifechanging for most of us. And then 5000 visits the next day. And then around 1k visits the next. Eventually getting to 100 users a day. Everyone loved it but the retention was not there

The site was terrible. The UI was awful. It was just a basic wordpress site

And then I spent thousands of dollars on ads and still the userbase kept shrinking. But I thought maybe the name was the issue so I changed it. But still nothing changed

So I shared it with a friend. He pointed a dozen different things that were wrong with it. Which is great to know so I spent two months fixing those. I had no search bar because people would search for a product and get no results but I added live price analysis to solve that. The UI was bad so I spent weeks trying to improve that.

But still I don't see any meaningful change in the userbase. I will keep running it as long as I can afford to do it. There are a few people who check it every day. But at what point should I move on. When do you decide to move on
