Background/Environment;

The Town of Noer, a port city in the Presidential Republic of Talvasota, had their troubles; they had always been a town most forgotten, a big town, sure, but one mostly known for the nearby prison housing anyone from SOs to murderers and the limited amount of seafaring trade that otherwise breaks the fog of the mundane town.

But alas, in the last years, it had maybe been on a decline; not only did they suffer 2 major prison breaks, but funding began to be stripped, and corruption began to be thought of, but alas, nobody dug into it, so as funds lowered, the town's quality decreased; water, food, and schools slowly started going below the country's standard.

Sure, you still could keep yourself clean, eat, drink, and go to school, but it isn't like it was a long time ago; now it remains a shell of its former self.

As it stands, it's about Spring 20XX. The town's decline had reached a massive point; women could rarely walk in the street, both at daylight and especially at nighttime, without fear; and people became criminals, bandits, supply scroungers, and rebels.

The whole town essentially turned into a slum; everyone here or there carried gear to defend themselves; the town's schools became grounds for chaos, but we won't focus on those, will we?

The last key to triggering the masses of criminals? A perfectly timed shutdown in the first few days of spring—now the streets, while at daylight, seem safe; at nighttime, they are hell. People can no longer walk outside without fear, women know they have to adapt

The Alleyways? God knows what happens to people that are dragged back there; they vanish into thin air, some alledge the port becomes where they go, and then off to their inevitable bad end.

Rumors of magic also begin spreading (as it's a modern AU style), but these are too new and too skeptical to be sought out by any but the desperate that know they won't make it out alive.

And In the sewers? News of a rebel group, formed of children and women alike settles, but these are surely just rumors.

The Air remains thick, foggy, the sky ocasionally cries it's tears for Noers.

These are the last days of Old Noer. You stand at the Crossroads. In 7 days, martial law will be declared on Noer, and God knows what happens then. And no more than a month ago, Noer was an acceptable town, yet now you have options before you; you could become an SO in broad daylight. And nobody would bat an eye or be nice to these people, they're abbandoned, useless.

Perhaps you can be a good guy, an anti-hero, a cop, or some other being that believes the town can still be saved.

A fantastical monster? Why not? Get in there.

One of the most evil criminals in the town? Go ahead.

Play as a GM, as Multiple males or just one extra guy. in this dark and slimy town.

**The background is meant to set the idea of how bad and dark the situation is; it IS NOT the entire plot. You can make a subplot with different locations, people, behaviors, and so on and so forth, as long as it's generally within Noer or the Noer Outskirts.**

(LO4M/MultipleM/GM) Sewers, Squares, Alleyways and Swinging'revolvers, Noer's Final days.
