Charging on the AGM M9

Curious if the AGM M9 will charge with any USB-C cable. I have a Sunbeam eagle which only allows me to charge with a USB-A -> USB-C cable (or the really low powered cord it came with). Frustrating because it defeats the universalness of USB-C.

Are any AGM M9 owners able to confirm if it'll universally charge with USB-C (like with, say, a laptop charger)?
