Do they sign things?

I'm going to the Toronto show at the history (very excited!) and was wondering if anyone had ever had any success getting anything signed? Like if you hang around after? I'd love to get my CD signed or even my t-shirt but I also don't want to waste my time or potentially break my CD if there's no chance at all.

Has anyone done that? How did you do it? What is the right place and right time to snag one?
