Node 25 (and 19)

I was expecting given nodes to decrease the max level vp upgrade cost. They didn’t. I checked. Are they just decreasing the gold price increment on spawn or am I getting something wrong here? Also I just currently have 4 lvls on node 24 and only got to 25 just now. Am I supposed to simply continue the grind beacuse I read on the wiki that node 25 was good and I don’t see any remarkable change at all.
