Queer loneliness and being closeted in ST

The perception that Will was weak for the very things that make him different makes this story all the richer. It's brave and courageous to remain so kindhearted, sweet and sensitive in a world forcing you to be otherwise. Will persisted, and suffered in silence, and still remained true to himself, after so much trauma and violence.

Will is powerful because of his ability to be so genuine, authentically loving and caring. Those feelings of love, although unrequited, were part of the fuel- but also him recognizing who he truly is...oofff. Tapping into that makes him his own brand of superhero, because he's fueled by love- a perfect foil to Vecna, who is fueled by hatred.<
