Is kpop flopping? Why are the streams low?

Please dont take this question the wrong way, I'm just curious and mean no harm. Since i've fallen out of interest in kpop circa 2022 but I do occasionally see kpop posts on social media so I have an idea of wich artists are popular at the moment, I sometimes would go listen their Spotify and music videos out of curiosity and the streams are definitely not as high remembered it, why do you think this is happening?
