(21F) So Apparently My Band Is “On Pause” (Which Is Totally Not Code for “Dead”) 🎤💀

Disclaimer: yes I know there are Reddits more focused on what I'm about to say. I tried and nothing worked out or my posts keep getting deleted cause it's "self promotion". Whatever.

So I have a band… or, well, I had a band? We’re technically “not doing anything right now,” which is a polite way of saying we’ve collectively ascended into the void for a variety of extremely reasonable, definitely-not-infuriating reasons.

Meanwhile, I’m still here, very much alive and very much itching to keep making music before I spontaneously combust. I’m a singer, I write my own lyrics, and my vibe is somewhere between metal (think Evanescence/Sleep Token doom-romantic misery) and rap/RnB (because who doesn’t like switching from screaming into the abyss to emotionally singing over a beat?).

I’ve been teaching myself how to make my own tracks which—shocker—takes time. Like, actual time. And patience. And possibly my soul.

I am looking to connect with people, but fair warning: I’m picky. Like, spiritually picky. Like, “if your energy feels weird I’m evaporating through the nearest wall” picky.
