Difference between rx 6800xt and the 5080

What is the actual performance difference between the 2 cards. I currently have a 6800xt and game at 4k. Been thinking it I want to upgrade but the vram in the 5080 and stuff I've seen online about low performance jumps is making me hesitant. What is the performance jump? Anyone made the jump themselves?
