Hello, I was just terminated for denting a parked car in a parking lot. Very minor damage to parked car, no damage to package car. I reported to supervisor and was fired the next day. I was still within the 90 day probation in Canada.

My first mistake is clear, trying to park too close to another vehicle. My second mistake was telling my supervisor. I should have left a note on the car telling them to contact me and that I would pay for the damage out of pocket. There was no damage on the package car, no cameras that I could see, and nobody around so UPS would not have known.

So remember, if you make a mistake during your 90 day probation. Don’t tell anyone.
