Do Coptic Christians follow the customs of the Byzantines when they pray with their prayer beads? That is, using breathing techniques, posture...? I know that this practice of tying knots and praying is attributed to Saint Anthony of the Desert, but I don't know if he developed other techniques that would give rise to Hesychasm.
