My mom’s friend (37F) likes me (26M) A LOT

One year ago I met my mom’s best friend. I never knew her because I was in college when my mom met her and I just returned home after graduating. My mom was obsessed with her, they used to talk over the phone for hours. When I first met her she was looking at me like noone before, straight in my eyes with big smile- and she was gorgeous looking, very beautiful. I didn’t thought much of it, because I’ve seen her as my mom’s friend and I knew she has a boyfriend. Well, a month later her boyfriend died in a car crash and 2 months later she started texting me. We texted a lot during the next few months, but she got offended at me for little things I did wrong and stopped speaking with me every week. I told her a few times that I just want to be friends with her, don’t want anything serious and that she shouldn’t be expecting anything from me. One time she deleted all her messages. It was like emotional rollercoaster. After each time she reached out after a week and said she was only looking for a friend, she just wanted support after her boyfriend died and it was just a misunderstning, that I thought she was flirting with me. It was great for some time. She used to buy me gifts every time she visited my mom and even planned a very expensive gift for my birthday- my mom didn’t like that. They got into fight over it and started to hate each other. After that we met each other twice. I still wanted to be friends with her, but she was very sad and didn’t say much, so I said that I don’t know what’s right anymore- she walked away. We didn’t speak with each other for 3 months, but every once in a while she posts on Facebook only things that are clearly about us, sometimes she shares music of my favourite artists or some sad love songs. She even made a playlist on Spotify called ‚my love’ with songs I once sent her. Today she sent me very nice and personal wishes. We started talking again and she told me that she cried every night because of me and how horrible she was treated . Is it possible she just wants to be friends and she will be ok with this, or this will never be enough of I don’t commit to it fully? My problem is that now when I moved back from college I have no friends here. I’m rather introverted, I rarely meet new people, and I don’t think I will meet someone that cares this much about me. The age gap is just too big for me for serious relationship. I like her a lot though.
