Any tips for security council?

I'm representing Russia in the security council, and i'm not really sure how much more different the security council is compared to a regular committee (other than the ability to veto). Additionally, how do i communicate with other P-5 nations? This is my second conference, and it's a much larger than my first one. All tips are appreciated.
