Braum E.

Why does braum E completely destroy e? I understand if it breaks before the first part, it doesnt root but shouldnt they allow it to at least root the braum? I understand from a coding standpoint but it just feels pretty infuriating considering the first half of e doesnt do dmg or slow or root
